Description
Drift Dog is an outdoors lifestyle brand founded by Chattanooga-based couple Ben and Meg Shuptrine. Named after the family's drift boat that accompanied their fly fishing trips, Drift Dog embodies the spirit of the Tennessee wilderness where Ben found his greatest inspiration growing up.
The brand required something bold and dynamic to reflect the high performance nature of the gear that it would represent. The figure of Captain, the Shuptrine's loyal German Shepherd and original "Drift Dog" that accompanied them on their fly trips felt like a natural mascot to embody the heart of the brand.
The form of a fly hook features dynamic curves and speaks to Drift Dog as a fishing-inspired brand. The "D" communicates the brand's name simply and helps viewers draw a connection between Drift Dog and its logo.
