Description
The idea behind my fictional service "Wallot" was to create something that could help consumers navigate the ethics of capitalism and "Vote with your Wallet", hence the name being a combination of the words wallet & ballot.
The primary mark draws from the idea of a copyright symbol, appropriating a capitalist image for a different purpose while also providing a way for Wallot to brand its statements. This leads directly into an arrow icon system that indicates current consumer trends and general opinions.
Brand applications reflect the minimalist aesthetic of the logo in order to optimize communicating desired messaging as clearly as possible. Any kind of merchandising would only be created to help continue funding Wallot's mission, and things like a literal transparent wallet could be a fun visual metaphor to increase grassroots marketing reach as well.
